Turkish Aerospace Industries

Turkish Aerospace Industries, known by.its Turkish acronym TAI (TUSAŞ in Turkish), is a.Turkish company specializing in the manufacturing of aircraft parts. Parts manufactured by TAI are used in commercial aircraft including the Airbus A380, as well as for military aircraft. TAI began producing winglets for the Airbus A350, which had its first flight that same year. TAI also manufactures and maintains components for military aircraft, including engines and subsystems.

Wednesday’s attack by the two PKK militants comes after signs in recent weeks of a potential reboot to Turkey’s long-stalled Kurdish ‘solution process’ after Devlet Bahçeli, long-time leader of the ultranationalist Nationalist Action Party (MHP).and current coalition partner to President Reecep.Tayyip Erdoğan’s Justice and Development Party (AKP), discussed.in a recent parliamentary group meeting the possibility of releasing.Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Öcalan. Öcalan has been.imprisoned on İmralı Island in the Sea of Marmara since his capture in 1999.
