Three explosions followed by gunfire were reported at the entrance.gate of the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) facility in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. Multiple videos have surfaced capturing the sound of gunfire exchanges. A large number of security forces have been dispatched to the scene. 4 people are reported dead, 14 wounded.

The explosions occurred at the TUSAŞ facility located in Ankara’s Kahramankazan district, and gunfire was reported in the area following the blasts. Security forces, along with fire and medical teams, have been deployed to the site.
Images of at least two suspects has emerged. The suspects appear to be wearing backpacks and brandishing at least one weapon each.


Two suspects, one male, one female, are seen entering the facility on CCTV footage.
During the early hours of the attack, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, stated that there were multiple casualties on the scene. Latest numbers indicate that there are at least 4 dead and 14 wounded.

What is TUSAŞ?
Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. (referred to as TAI in English) is Turkey’s technological hub for the design, development, production, completion, modernization, and after-sales services of air platforms. The company manufactures parts for the world’s largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, and the military transport aircraft, the Airbus A400M. Additionally, in 2013, TUSAŞ began producing winglets for the Airbus A350, which had its first flight that same year.
