The world’s leading business paper The Financial Times has announced its list of the Future 25. The inaugural “FT Future 25 Middle East” list, which includes Medyascope, seeks to identify innovative companies that are disrupting their sectors and thriving.
Medyascope is the only media company from Turkey that made the list.
Besides Medyascope, two other Turkish companies are named. These are, Turkish Telecom company Turkcell’s “Hello Hope” app and conservative clothing retailer Modanisa.
The jury included FT’s editors Andrew England and Mark Wembridge.
Other companies nominated are from Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon and Yemen. According to the FT, the listed companies have brought change to a region dominated by government-controlled economies.
