Attacks by teenage perpetrators in Turkey

In August 2024, an 18-year-old perpetrator armed with a knife wounded five in Turkey’s central Anatolian city of Eskişehir. The perpetrator had been active on online neo-Nazi forums and had published a manifesto shortly before the attack, according to investigators.

In October 2024, a 19-year-old in Istanbul perpetrated a double-femicide of two former classmates before taking his own life by jumping from Istanbul’s historic city walls in the Edirnekapı district.
